1, Introduction.

As he looked over Canvey Island, he realised his times were dead. The strangest type of housing estate had got into his head. So he got on a train, to ease his pain but it was running late to increase his hate, but when it moved it talked to him, these tele windows can sort of sing, he saw some estates, thought of some mates then it dawned on him the eternal sin, of thoughtlessness, was all around, in every form but most of all sound.

He arrived to find, the history only, the heart had been ripped out all but slowly, the cultural freight made no sense it was all in pounds and shillings and pence, what should he make from this shit, what should he take, from these bits, that seem to shake up a place into which he can't fit his face.

He realised if you didn't understand peoples aims you understood nothing of 'em, but some don't have aims… he thought floating on concrete was fun, but he didn't move, and nothing got done.

2, Trial and Error.

So he got a job.

Out with old in with the new is met by a sigh of relief and a few people will try and be positive, against the usual derogatives. Then its made plain, the game ain't changed, the gradual decline that gets worse over time.

In with the new, out with the old, I know this story's already been told but improvement for changes sake? How much can we take, you'll be surprised when the goalposts move, you'll constantly have to improve, drives for 'quality', customer service, signs on walls, no one deserves this.

Challenging? Or harrowing? Hardened to it or fastened to it? Character building or soul destroying, bad hard work who's worth employing? If and when your mind gets colonised, see if you recognise yourself.

Rebellion does not exist, when Orwellian lies persist, more is taken from your state, coz more is added to your plate, and your meant to be grateful for the added responsibility rather than hateful for the increased liabilities, coz the flexible workforce will not snap, they'll just be bent into shape to fill a gap, or an opportunity as its sold, in with the new, out with the old.

It's a great shame but you're all incorrect

We should try and increase the range, of the human hope for change, efforts a responsibility even if affection ain't a possibility, if and when your mind gets colonised, see if you recognise yourself.

3, Tribes.

Someone at work found out that he preferred oranges to apples so they shot him in the head, but he hated the smell of being dead.

People will do what they wanna do its fuckin rocket science, the need to belong doesn't give us long, is it a reliance?, on every level equate at your peril but to divide and conquer you'll get a government grant just so that you can do it for longer, fuck in hell, fuck in hell.

And so he thought hard, and he realised I want the Cajun life, imagine listenin to that music every fuckin night.

4, My Friend.

5, Popular Cum Sounds and Verse.

He got a bit too confident

Popular cum sounds and verse, can you think of anything worse?

6, Innocent Civilian.

But no one liked it, or bought it, so he thought he'd try and be honest.

Can you see him fall him falling down, falling down, would you care if he was dead would it cause a stir, he prefers, to attention seek when times are bleak, times running out for the boy, there ain't much left that he seems to enjoy, coz he's intent on being self destroyed.

Its too easy to, search for the cheesy tune, give it all up for the pressures dropped just like before/the precious job just like before.

What do you when you see no past? What do you do when your meaning disappears fast? Do you hope your not alone, human phone, possibilties run too high, say goodbye to motivation.

7, Tribes Reprise.

But no one liked it, or bought it, so at the crossroads he knew he'd have to forge his own exit, and so he walked off into any landscape he could imagine being looked at by women but not being enjoyed by them, so he kept walking, through and over people, places until he found a cave of true trust and delight.

You can go so far inside, induced by your pride, attempting to hide, attention seeking free rides.

But then he'd decided, too much he'd confided.

8, Don't Count Me In.

So he felt,

Don't count me in, Don't count me in, or I'll explode on ya, I'll explode on ya. Don't count in, don't assume I'm in, or I'll run from ya, I'll be running from ya, remember me, don't forget me, don't even bother, I won't let ya, coz its too early, its when I'm ready, and I'll explode on ya, I'll explode on ya, you treat me like meat, it's a running theme, you need to change that, I ain't like that, coz I'm a troubled soul, but a loving man, you can't hack that, you can't act that.

I will explode on you.

9, N.B..

I could turn the whole world against me right, just to give myself someone to fight, but the only thing to have and hold is the fright, of being alive alone in another single night, the fundamentals poke their head round the corner, just to make sure that I have to scorn her, big cults tell me I have to be re born first, to truly find what your looking for sir. The free fundamentals one day I will burn, with help, love and true concern, any time now when I'm on the next funny turn, when the mental illness kicks in in a song yearn.

Its about an exit that comes from inside, not a one night one month year or bride, no family or friends can help you decide, class 50's in tunnels and then confidence slides.

You can certainly find some running themes, its like when people gang up on you in teams, there's fighting in my dreams it seems, I can't remember it but I feel what it means, a live carcass I lead myself to think, which puts me firmly on the edge of the brink, in wet tarmac three miles I would sink and still see red every time I blink.

Well it certainly does not bode, at one point I'm sure my life flowed, but just think of those, with no fixed abode, its all relative but we are all on our own roads.

10, Dark.

Imagine the coroners helpers on an hourly wage draggin your body around like meat's always a treat, isn't what people want to see life through rose tinted wind owes me a life but he's given me a way instead.

I'm putting down, myself. Steaming look, I'm just walking around, it's an angry pace, it seems there's nothing to find. Out of my face a long way behind my face, I'm putting down myself.

11, Isolation Room.

He considered suicide one morning but then he concluded that it would be too hard to organise so he stood on Blackfriars bridge and shouted:

The secrets of a modern world of which there are some, seeing a project through to its end its weight in tonnes, will drag you into woodland, where no one goes, wind owned moorland of which sheep only know, but I've told you now.

About that domestic household what is going on, the way they speak to each other it is so wrong, I wish I was a quarter of you but my livings gone, value is a value you've decided to belong, but go away dear child, go away dear boy, you're nothing but a stage, a cog, a toy, this will no doubt one day completely destroy your lives and your children's everyday joy, but I've told you now.

Go on do something different enter a mental home, you'll find that bouncing tits just won't leave you alone, an then step outside and look out at the light of day, and then you'll realise that there's nothing really in your in tray, but I've told you now.

12, Nil By Mouth.

In his bid to consider the many he'd only considered the few, in fact of none of you.

It's fine to be alive.

Harsh incisions, black hole visions, they all come running.

Diary of a Somebody

1, Day Part 1 (Pub Rock Version).

Life, don't rain on me, because life rested he. Day, have faith in me, day, a waste land be, my day lost at sea. Choice, voice is a key. Voice, choice is now a fee. So life, don't rain on me.

2, No One Listen.

I said no one listen, I said tell me why, have met that person the one that follows you around, they warm you up and then they take you down. I said make your mistakes, be unruly or fair, coz they'll make you cry even if you're not there.

.3, Not On My Doorstep Blues

When the buck stops with you what ya gonna do, just 'not on my doorstep' blues, well the chain it must stop somewhere, but today I will not loose.

When the time comes to pay what ya gonna to say to a child who sees your eyes to whom you can't deny you've given the 'not' We the chain it has stopped somewhere from this problem you will just cruise.

When the wind starts a howlin you won't hear your heart, when the wind stops a howlin conscience and mind apart just make sure its 'not' Well the blame it must stop somewhere maybe today I will loose.

Well how should I act when its me it finally chase, when it comes right back right into my face, no its right on my doorstep, well the chain it has stopped somewhere and today I definitely will loose

.Bounce of the Ounce (Mandolin Version).

Keep on comin'.

.Take Me

Take me up to a higher place, take me up till I'm down, take me up to a higher place, please take me up don't go down, take me up to a dia place, take me up till I'm down, take me up to a dia place, please don't go up do go down.

Take me up to pretty face, take me up till I'm down, take me up to pretty face, please take me up don't go down.

It Bites Back.

Look, there it goes, my control and my hold, so I'm told. It bites back, it fights back. Look, there it goes, my control, its what I know.

Maybe.

I need to get back to, my line I take, coz if I lie again, I will surely break, maybe. I am feeling like, what I really should, with my life's about, all about what could maybe, As a human I live with fear, hopefully not the only one, its been that for some years, despite the surface fun, maybe. So if your feeling dry, embrace it to the full, have a lonely cry, on the up now after all, maybe, I'm crazy, d'ya blame me?

Are you fine with what goes on, coz I can't reflect today, too much of the humans gone, for once I will not say. I want get back to somewhere I've never been, you've never been me now you don't know what I mean.

Something Extra (Blues Version).

Believe me pal, leave him there, coz your on the trail of the violent male, oh tryin to find something extra is something I will not do, just to appease you.

Can you tell me how, winning is fair, because right now, I have no care, because tryin not to loose my temper is something I will not do, just to appease you.

It's easy now your not there, it was worse somehow when you cared coz I tried to find something extra, I tried to find something new, tried it all for you.

Dyin' Man Blues.

If you don't like my train of thought get off now, you don't like my train of thought so get off now. You don't like the things I feel, feel them now. You don't want the things I want, I want them now. You don't like the things I see, I'm seeing them now.

You don't like the things I say, I'm saying them now. You don't like the things I hear, I hear them now. You don't want the things I need, I need them now

.

I don't believe I'm shockin you.

Day Part 2.

Are you happy with your day did you have your say or did you do as your told or d'you just feel cold? Did someone invade you or just parad'you have your say to whom in what way? Did you think of a thousand potential lovers did you change an opinion or just form another? Were you a cunt abrupt or blunt did you just survive or totally thrive? Were you at war with a gun as protection or were you at war with a lack of direction? Did you create and did you make or did you stop to enjoy the lot?

Did you exercise or put on weight or did you leave it all up to fate? Did you have sex was it gratefully received or was the reaction a bit hard to believe? Did you visit a grave how did you behave or did you die yourself and are you now made?

Because people keep telling me how great they are so it's meant to matter who they are? People keep moving into my face with no real thought and no real grace. What sort of day have you had or have you not even thought coz it's just too mad?

A Life In Minutes

1, The Way In.

2, Mind.

You're spending too much time on the things on your mind, Your spending too much time on the things you can't find, Your spending too much time you can't see things your blind, coz you spend too much time on the things on your mind.

3, Private Person.

4, Thatcher's Children.

I am disturbed by many thoughts, to share them would leave you distraught, but if you want a happy talk, I would not have an apt retort but you could watch me walk, because there's nothing here for second place, jazz man told it to my face, apologies will not replace, coz I second place, he said four chords is not enough to show, off exactly what I know, watch me watch me watch me glow, re the line I will not tow, coz I want somewhere else to go, you can say I told you so but would you go that low, there's nothing here for second place.

Nothings like it used to be, did you piss on your family, claiming that it wasn't me, breathings such a tragedy.

5, Nationality Speaks Sadly.

'What do you do, where do you come from, what do you believe have you done any wrong?'

6, What's Important.

It's all in the time that you take, It's all in the time that you make, It's all in the time that you fake.

7, Non Relationship Rant.

You always left me confused, I s'pose you never liked me enough, you always left me abused, coz all I was your bit o' rough, now I met you when I was o so low, with all that thing they call baggage in tow, you seemed to like me I never knew why hindsight tells me I was something different to try.

The queen of mixed signals kept me hanging on I should have taken it as fun should I have taken it as wrong, but I never dressed like a pretend surfer, and in matters of the heart I was still a learner.

Do what you wanna do, I know you don't want to do me, so tell me what you wanna do please.

Your man was your cover for the women you couldn't be, s'pose I was your lover, but it didn't feel that way to me, I never quite worked out why you bothered to make it all seem true, I s'pose you were showing off, the fact that you didn't have to.

8, March.

9, Some Truth.

I'm pleasing myself, my bleeding I felt.

I used to enjoy that, but now I'm hangin for dear life, I used to deplore that but I'm changing beyond a life. Orwell got it so right, but the gradual change removes light, it's so very clever, the constant prospect of might.

Myself I cannot host, I'll write myself a letter, to turn me into a ghost, that way you'll know me better, so drop me d-mail, with all successful details, coz I can't see anything that ultimately doesn't fail.

My life's up for retrieval if you pick me I'll be revealing, I was built for evil, but it's just not that appealing.

10,A Human Quality.

11, Take Me.

Tell me up to your 'higher' place, take me up till I'm down, take me up to your 'higher' place, please take me up don't go down.

12, The Way Out.
